Overview
Local experiences like classes and food tours add depth to a trip.
Reviews about the host matter.
The usual process
- Confirm what's included. Tours and transfers vary in pickup, entry fees and group size.
- Check reviews from recent visitors. Opening hours and prices change often.
- Book popular sights early. Timed tickets for major attractions can sell out weeks ahead.
- Save confirmations offline. Phone signal and Wi-Fi can be unreliable at busy sites.
- Arrive early. Security lines at major attractions can be long.

- Beware of unofficial sellers. Buy attraction tickets from official sites or well-reviewed operators.
